The question to be reconsidered: "Shall CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 154(FIN) "An Act relating to advancement in public schools of children under school age; and providing for an effective date for the Act of July 1, 2004" pass the Senate?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 154(FIN) Third Reading - On Reconsideration YEAS: 12 NAYS: 7 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Bunde, Cowdery, Dyson, Green, Ogan, Seekins, Stevens B, Stevens G, Taylor, Therriault, Wagoner, Wilken Nays: Davis, Ellis, Elton, French, Guess, Lincoln, Olson Absent: Hoffman Olson changed from "Yea" to "Nay". and so, CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 154(FIN) passed the Senate on reconsideration. 2003-05-20 Senate Journal Page 1679 Senator Ben Stevens moved for the adoption of the effective date clause. The question being: "Shall the effective date clause be adopted?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 154(FIN) Effective Date Clause YEAS: 6 NAYS: 13 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 1 Yeas: Ellis, Elton, French, Guess, Lincoln, Olson Nays: Bunde, Cowdery, Davis, Dyson, Green, Ogan, Seekins, Stevens B, Stevens G, Taylor, Therriault, Wagoner, Wilken Absent: Hoffman and so the effective date clause failed to be adopted. CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 154(FIN)(efd fld S) "An Act relating to advancement in public schools of children under school age" was referred to the Secretary for engrossment.
